Heavy traffic expected on NLEX on Jan. 21

Motorists who will travel on the North Luzon Expressway (NLEX) were advised to expect heavy traffic on Sunday, Jan. 21, due to a concert to be held at the Philippine Sports Stadium at Ciudad de Victoria in Bulacan.

"Please allot more travel time as high volume of traffic is expected during this day," NLEX Corporation said in an advisory posted on Facebook.

The company advised motorists to take alternate routes.

"For motorists heading to Bocaue or Santa Maria, take alternate routes via Marilao or Tambubong exits," it said.

"Traffic personnel will be deployed in NLEX-covered areas to provide assistance," it added.

Kpop group NCT 127 will have a one-night concert at the Philippine Sports Stadium on Sunday. The show is part of the group's third tour, titled NEO CITY - THE UNITY. —KG, GMA Integrated News
