MCU footbridge at Monumento Station to be closed from Oct. 2 to Nov. 2

The MCU footbridge at Monumento Station in Caloocan City will be temporarily closed for a month, authorities said on Friday.

The temporary closure will be from October 2 to November 2, 2023, according to an EDSA Busway advisory shared by the Department of Transportation on Facebook.

The closure of the footbridge was necessary to allow the conduct of repair and rehabilitation of the footbridge, the advisory added.

Pedestrians and commuters were advised to use the EDSA-Boni Serrano (5th Street) footbridge instead while the MCU footbridge undergoes repair and rehabilitation. —KG, GMA Integrated News
