Katipunan Avenue northbound zipper lane to be opened Sept. 21 for 2-week dry run

A zipper lane on the northbound direction of Katipunan Avenue in Quezon City will be opened to motorists starting September 21, 2023 for a two-week dry run.

The zipper lane will be open from 6:30 a.m. to 8 a.m. on weekdays except holidays.

Motorists going northbound (Miriam College and beyond) may enter the zipper lane starting at the center island in the vicinity of Ateneo de Manila University's Gate 2.

The exit of the zipper lane is at the intersection in front of Gate 3 of Ateneo.

Motorists however will not be allowed to turn right from the zipper lane to enter Gate 3 of Ateneo.

The Quezon City local government unit and the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority said the zipper lane will be opened to maximize the space on the southbound lane of Katipunan Avenue. —KG, GMA Integrated News
