Pasig implements experimental traffic scheme near Sta. Monica Bridge
The Pasig City local government unit started implementing on Monday an experimental traffic scheme near Sta. Monica Bridge.
Vehicles coming from Sta. Monica Bridge in Barangay Kapitolyo may use West Capitol Drive or East Capitol Drive, and Sta. Theresa Street (formerly MMR) in Barangay Pineda, the LGU said in an advisory posted on Facebook.
The roads were opened to enable motorists to have shorter travel time from Pasig to Bonifacio Global City or Makati City and back, according to a report by Ivan Mayrina on Unang Balita on Monday.
These roads also connect to BGC Link.
According to Ronnie Fernandez, chief of operations of the Traffic and Parking Management Office of Pasig City, 36 personnel were deployed on Monday to guide motorists regarding the new traffic scheme. —KG, GMA Integrated News
