MMDA: Several Pasig, QC roads closed for repairs, reblocking

Several roads in Pasig and Quezon City would be closed during the weekend for reblocking and repairs, the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) announced on Saturday.

In an advisory, the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) said they would reblock and repair the following Pasig roads from January 27 to 30:

• C-5 Service Road along Pasig Boulevard Barangay Bagong llog near Rizal Medical Center; and
• Julia Vargas corner Lanuza Ave., Brgy. Ugong near Valle Verde 5, Pasig City.

The DPWH would replace a sewage pipe in the area during the closure.

In Quezon City, the affected routes were:

• Cloverleaf (Chainage 000-Chainage 234) going to North Luzon Expressway (NLEX); and
• EDSA Southbound (Balingasa Creek to OliverosFootbridge) Quezon City.
