LRT-2 to offer morning, evening free rides on Rizal Day

The Light Rail Transit Line 2 (LRT-2) will offer free rides on Friday - December 30, 2022 - Rizal Day, from 7 a.m. to 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.

The first trains will depart from Recto and Antipolo Station at 5:00 a.m., and the last train from Antipolo Station will depart at 9:00 p.m. and 9:30 p.m. from Recto Station.

“Ang libreng sakay ay bilang pakikiisa ng [Light Rail Transit Authority] sa mga Pilipino sa paggunita at pag-alala sa kabayanihan ni Gat Jose Rizal,” said the LRTA.

However, the LRTA still reminded passengers to maintain health, safety, and security protocols to avoid getting a COVID-19  infection and experiencing other mishaps. —Sherylin Untalan/DVM, GMA Integrated News
