EDSA-Kamuning flyover undergoes repair, open only to light vehicles and buses

The Department of Public Works and Highways has started repairs on the EDSA-Kamuning flyover in Quezon City after cracks were seen on Friday morning.

A lane in the southbound direction has been closed as DPWH said the cement on top has to be removed first to determine the extent of repair needed, according to a report on GMA News' Unang Balita on Monday.

Only light vehicles and the EDSA carousel buses are allowed to use the flyover in the southbound direction.

The DPWH said the repair will be finished in one week.

Traffic has built up on Monday morning during rush hour.

The Metropolitan Manila Development Authority advised southbound motorists to consider using alternate routes while the repair work is ongoing. —KG, GMA News
