LRT2 stops operations temporarily due to signaling problem

The Light Rail Transit-Line 2 (LRT2) on Sunday temporarily halted operations due to a problem with its signaling system, according to a report by Luisito Santos on Super Radyo dzBB.
Light Rail Transit Authority spokesperson Atty. Hernando Cabrera said code red or temporary stop operations was implemented at 7:45 a.m. due to a technical issue.
Operations of the whole line between Recto Station to Antipolo Station and vice versa were affected.
The LRTA apologized to the riding public for the inconvenience resulting from the incident.
LRT2 currently implements Code Red or temporary stop operations.

At 11:33 a.m. the LRTA said its engineering and maintenance personnel as well as its contractor Seimens are working on the problem.
Pansamantalang wala pong biyahe ang LRT 2 mula Recto hanggang Antipolo at pabalik dahil sa signaling problem. Kasalukuyan pong inaayos ng Engineering, Maintenance at Seimens, ang contractor ng Line 2 East Extension Project ang nasabing problema.
