LRT2 temporarily stops operation due to signaling system issue
The Light Rail Transit Line 2 (LRT2) on Wednesday temporarily stopped its operation due to a technical problem, according to the Light Rail Transit Authority (LRTA).
In a social media update, the LRTA said it is already fixing the issue.
“LRT 2 is currently implementing CODE RED or temporary stop operations due to technical problem. Intervention is ongoing. We apologize for the inconvenience,” it said.

On Twitter, LRTA spokesperson Hernando Cabrera said that the operations have been stopped since 6 a.m. due to a signaling system problem.
