LRT2 on degraded ops for last 2 weekends of May —LRTA

The Light Rail Transit Line 2 will impose a "degraded operation" in the last two Saturdays and Sundays of May.

In an advisory posted on Twitter on Fridray, the LRTA said degraded operation from May 22 to 23, and May 29 to 30 means that all trains will only be servicing the Recto -Cubao-Recto lines.

PASSENGER ADVISORY: Degraded operations will be temporarily implemented this weekend (May 22-23) and for May 29-30. Opening hours will remain at 5:00 AM and last trip at 8:30 PM (Cubao to Recto) and 9:00 PM (Recto-Cubao). Thank you for your understanding and cooperation. pic.twitter.com/ZtLFeVodvv

It said that the curtailed train operation is to give way to the integration test of the signaling system of the Line 2 East Extension (Marikina and Antipolo Stations) with the Santolan to Recto system. —LBG, GMA News
