Cebu Pacific cancels flights in General Santos on Saturday, June 6
Cebu Pacific on Friday announced that it is cancelling two flights on Saturday, June 6, due to restrictions imposed by the local government of General Santos City.
The cancelled flights are the following:
- 5J 995 Manila-General Santos
- 5J 996 General Santos-Manila
According to the airline, passengers affected by the change of schedule may rebook their flights for free to any other travel date within three months. Cebu Pacific said that rebooking fees and fare difference are waived.
Affected passengers may also avail a full travel fund wherein the full cost of the ticket will be placed in a travel fund that will be valid for one year.
The passenger may use the travel fund to either book a flight one year ahead or pay for add-ons. Should this not be used within one year, the passenger may apply for a full refund.
The last option for affected passengers is a full refund.
The airline said that the processing of refunds will start once the quarantine is lifted and regular work schedules have been resumed.
However, this will take three to four billing cycles due to the volume of requests for refunds. -- BAP, GMA News
