The number coding scheme in Metro Manila remains lifted from June 1 to 5, 2020, Metropolitan Manila Development Authority spokesperson Assistant Secretary Celine Pialago said in an interview on Dobol B sa News TV on Saturday.

However, Makati City announced it will implement the modified number coding scheme in the city beginning Monday, June 1.
Metro Manila will be placed under general community quarantine (GCQ) starting June 1.
Under GCQ, more businesses will be allowed to open following guidelines issued by the Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases. —KG, GMA News
