LRT2 offers free rides on March 8, International Women’s Day

The Light Rail Transit-2 (LRT-2) on Friday said it will be offering free rides to women on March 8, Sunday in celebration of International Women's Day.

In a tweet, LRT-2 said that free rides can only be availed during the following peak hours:

• 7 a.m. to 9 a.m.
• 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.

The LRT-2's Santolan, Katipunan, and Anonas stations are still shut down after its rectifiers got damaged in a fire in October.
