Vehicles passing NLEx, SCTEx to be stopped during dry run convoy travel

The Police Regional Office (PRO) 3 on Saturday night advised motorists of a possible traffic disruption along the North Luzon Expressway (NLEx) and the Subic-Clark-Tarlac Expressway (SCTEx) on Sunday.

The PRO 3 said it will conduct a dry run convoy travel starting 8 a.m. from Clark to Balintawak and traffic along NLEx and SCTex may be affected.

It said vehicles passing through the two expressways "will be temporarily stopped to give way to the convoy."

The dry run is part of the police's security preparations for the upcoming 31st ASEAN Summit and Related Meetings and Special Celebration of ASEAN@50 with the Leaders scheduled on November 10 at Clark.

"We appeal to the public to please bear with us for the occasional traffic disruption," the PRO 3 said. —ALG, GMA News
