“Cebu Pacific will send notifications to affected passengers once the systems are working and will provide the options available.”

Affected passengers of AirAsia may also obtain a full refund.

The Manila International Airport Authority reported system issues caused by a cyber incident that affected Cebu Pacific and AirAsia Philippines at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport.

According to a statement on Friday, cybersecurity provider CrowdStrike confirmed that Blue Screen of Deaths (BSODs) caused system crashes on Microsoft’s Windows operating systems.

Several banks were also affected by the system disruption.
