Maynilad announces water service interruption in Valenzuela City

Water utilities company, Maynilad Water Services, Inc., announced that there would be a service interruption in some barangays in Valenzuela City on Thursday.

"Our customers in portions of Valenzuela City will have a scheduled water service interruption from 10 p.m. of February 29, 2024 (Thursday) to 5 a.m. of March 1, 2024 (Friday), as we will be repairing a leaking pipe along the north-bound portion of North Luzon Expressway (NLEX) in front of the Valenzuela Gateway Complex in Brgy. Paso de Blas, Valenzuela City," the company announced.

The affected barangays are: Arkong Bato, Bagbaguin, Balangkas, Bisig, Canumay East, Canumay West, Coloong, Dalandanan, Gen. T. de Leon, Isla, Karuhatan, Lawang Bato, Lingunan, Mabolo, Malanday, Malinta, Marulas, Maysan, Palasan, Parada, Pariancillo Villa, Paso de Blas, Pasolo, Poblacion, Polo, Rincon, Tagalag, Viente Reales, and Wawang Pulo.

"Affected customers are advised to store enough water for the duration of the service interruption," Maynilad said.

"Upon resumption of the water service, please let the water flow out briefly until it clears. We apologize for the inconvenience. This activity is in line with our effort to continuously improve water services. Thank you." — BAP, GMA Integrated News
