Northeasterly Windflow, easterlies to bring cloudy skies, light rain over parts of PH

The Northeasterly Windflow will be affecting Northern Luzon while the easterlies affect the rest of the country on Thursday, PAGASA reported.

Cagayan Valley, Apayao, Kalinga, Mountain Province, Ifugao, and Aurora will have cloudy skies with light rains due to the Northeasterly Windflow but this will have no significant impact.

Ilocos Region and the rest of Cordillera Administrative Region will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains due to the Northeasterly Windflow but this will also have no significant impact.

Metro Manila and the rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms due to the easterlies with flash floods or landslides possibly occurring during severe thunderstorms.

The wind speed forecast for Northern Luzon is moderate to strong moving northeastward with moderate to rough coastal waters.

The rest of the country will experience light to moderate wind speed moving in the east to northeast direction while coastal waters will be slight to moderate.

The highest Heat Index on Thursday are in Iba, Zambales and Virac, Catanduanes with 43°C or Danger level. The weather bureau says the effect of this high temperature in the body include heat cramps and heat exhaustion and heat stroke may occur with continued exposure.
