Northern Luzon to have light rains due to northeasterly windflow

Light rains are expected in Northern Luzon due to the northeasterly windflow, PAGASA said Wednesday.
The state weather bureau said the affected areas are Cagayan Valley, Apayao, Kalinga, Mountain Province, Ifugao, Ilocos Region, and the rest of Cordillera Administrative Region.
Meanwhile, Metro Manila and the rest of the country will see partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms due to the easterlies.
These severe thunderstorms may trigger flash floods or landslides.
State meteorologists also said Northern Luzon will experience moderate to strong wind conditions and moderate to rough coastal water conditions.
Winds will be light to moderate while coastal waters will be slight to moderate throughout the rest of the country.
Sunrise in Metro Manila will be at 5:51 a.m. on Thursday. —Mariel Celine Serquiña/ VAL, GMA Integrated News
