PAGASA: Rains across PH due to 3 weather systems

Cloudy skies with rainshowers are expected over parts of the country due to three weather systems, PAGASA said.

In its 4 a.m. bulletin, the state weather bureau said Batanes, Cagayan including Babuyan Islands, Apayao, Isabela, and Aurora will experience cloudy skies with rains brought by the northeasterly windflow.

Davao Oriental, Davao Occidental, Sarangani, South Cotabato, Basilan, Sulu, and Tawi-Tawi will have cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms due to the Intertropical Convergence Zone.

Metro Manila and the rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms due to the easterlies.

PAGASA cautioned residents in these areas for possible flash floods or landslides during severe thunderstorms.
