LPA, easterlies to bring rains over parts of Visayas, Mindanao

A Low-Pressure Area (LPA) and the easterlies are expected to bring rainy skies over several parts of the Visayas and Mindanao on Friday.
According to PAGASA’s daily weather forecast on Thursday, the LPA was last seen at 235 kilometers east southeast of Hinatuan, Surigao del Sur at around 3 p.m.
As of 8 a.m., the state weather bureau stated that it had an unlikely chance of developing into a tropical depression within the next 24 hours.
It is forecast to bring cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms over the Visayas, Northern Mindanao, and Caraga.
The easterlies are expected to bring partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms over the rest of the country.
Possible flash floods or landslides could occur in some areas as a result of said weather conditions.
Meanwhile, light to moderate winds with slight to moderate waters can be expected over the entire country.
Temperatures in the Philippines will range from a minimum of 25.6°C to a maximum of 32.9°C over the next 24-hour period.
