LPA to bring cloudy skies, rains over Southern Mindanao, parts of Visayas
A low pressure area will bring cloudy skies with scattered rains over Southern Mindanao and parts of the Visayas on Wednesday, PAGASA reported.
The LPA, as of 3 a.m., was estimated to be located at 645 kilometers east of Southeastern Mindanao.
Central Visayas, Eastern Visayas, Caraga, Davao Region, and Siquijor will have cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms due to the LPA with the possibility that flash floods or landslides will occur due to moderate to at times heavy rains.
Metro Manila and the rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms due to the easterlies with flash floods or landslides occurring during severe thunderstorms.
The wind speed forecast for Southern Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao is light to moderate moving in the east to northeast direction while coastal waters will be slight to moderate.
The rest of the country will have light to moderate winds moving in the east to southeast direction with slight to moderate coastal waters.
