Weather systems to bring clouds, rains across PH

Several weather systems will bring cloudy skies and rain to different parts of the country, according to PAGASA’s Saturday afternoon forecast.

The Intertropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ) will cause cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms over southern Palawan, Basilan, Sulu, and Tawi-Tawi.

The Northeast Monsoon will bring partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains over Metro Manila, the Ilocos Region, the Cordillera Administrative Region, Cagayan Valley, and Central Luzon.

Meanwhile, the rest of the country will experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms due to the easterlies.

PAGASA warns that flash floods or landslides may occur in some areas due to these weather conditions.

Moderate to strong winds with moderate to rough seas are expected over the eastern sections of Southern Luzon and the Visayas.

Moderate winds with moderate seas will affect the rest of Luzon.

The rest of the country will experience light to moderate winds with light to moderate coastal waters.

Over the next 24 hours, temperatures across the country will range between 21.4°C and 30.8°C.
