Shear line to bring cloudy skies, rains over Visayas, parts of Mindanao

The shear line will cause cloudy skies with scattered rains and isolated thunderstorms over Visayas, Dinagat Islands, and Surigao del Norte, PAGASA said in its early Saturday morning forecast.

Davao Region, SOCCSKSARGEN, BARMM, Zamboanga Peninsula, and Palawan will have cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms due to the easterlies, which will also bring partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms over the rest of Mindanao.

The Bicol Region, Cagayan Valley, the rest of MIMAROPA, Apayao, Aurora, and Quezon will experience cloudy skies with rains, while Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon will see partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains due to the Northeast Monsoon (Amihan).

The eastern sections of Southern Luzon and Visayas and the rest of Luzon will experience moderate to strong winds and moderate to rough coastal waters.

Light to moderate winds and slight to moderate coastal waters are expected for the rest of the Philippines.

The sun will rise over Metro Manila at 5:59 a.m. —VBL, GMA Integrated News
