Amihan, shear line, easterlies to bring cloudy skies, rains over PH

The Northeast Monsoon (amihan) will continue to affect Luzon, the effects of the Shear Line will be felt in the Visayas while the easterlies will affect in parts of Mindanao on Friday, PAGASA reported.
Visayas, Albay, Sorsogon, Catanduanes, Masbate, and Dinagat Islands will have cloudy skies with scattered rains and isolated thunderstorms due to the Shear Line with possible flash floods or landslides occurring due to moderate to heavy rains.
Davao Region, Zamboanga Peninsula, Sarangani, Basilan, Sulu, Tawi-Tawi, and Palawan will have cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms due to the Easterlies with flash floods or landslides possibly occurring due to moderate to at times heavy rains.
Cagayan Valley, Apayao, Aurora, Quezon, and the rest of Bicol Region will have cloudy skies with rains due to the Northeast Monsoon with possible flash floods or landslides occurring due to moderate to at times heavy rains.
Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains due to the Northeast Monsoon but this will have no significant impact.
The rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms due to the Easterlies with flash floods or landslides occurring during severe thunderstorms.
The eastern sections of Southern Luzon and Visayas will experience strong wind speed moving northeastward with rough coastal waters.
The rest of Luzon will experience moderate to strong wind speed moving northeastward with moderate to rough coastal waters.
The rest of the country will have light to moderate wind speed moving northeastward with slight to moderate coastal waters.
