Easterlies to bring cloudy skies, rain over eastern PH


Easterlies are expected to affect several parts of the country with cloudy skies and scattered rains, according to PAGASA on Friday.

Based on the state weather bureau'sdaily weather forecast, cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms may be felt over Caraga, Davao Oriental, and Southern Leyte due to the easterlies.

The easterlies will also bring partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms over Metro Manila and the rest of the country.

Possible flash floods or landslides may occur in some parts of the country as a result of said weather conditions.

Meanwhile, moderate winds with moderate seas will be observed in the eastern section of the country.

The rest of the country will be having light to moderate winds with slight to moderate coastal waters.

Temperatures in the country will range from a minimum of 22.6°C to a maximum of 34.6°C over the next 24-hour period.
