Easterlies to bring cloudy skies, rains over parts of PH

The easterlies continue to bring rainy skies over parts of the country.

According to PAGASA's daily weather forecast Thursday afternoon, the Eastern Visayas, Sorsogon, and Masbate may experience cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms due to the easterlies.

Partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms may be felt over Metro Manila and the rest of the country also as a result of the easterlies.

These weather conditions may cause possible flash floods or landslides in some areas.

Meanwhile, the eastern section of the country may experience moderate winds with moderate seas, while other areas will have light to moderate winds with slight to moderate coastal waters.

Temperatures in the country will range from a minimum of 23.4 degrees Celsius to a maximum of 34.2 degrees Celsius over the next 24-hour period.

Sunrise in Metro Manila will be at 6:05 a.m. Friday. — Jiselle Anne Casucian/ VDV, GMA Integrated News
