Easterlies to bring rains over parts of Mindanao

Parts of Mindanao will have cloudy skies and rainfall in the next 24 hours due to the easterlies, PAGASA said Wednesday afternoon.
In its latest weather forecast, the state weather bureau said these areas are Davao Region, SOCCSKSARGEN, Basilan, Sulu, and Tawi-Tawi.
These moderate to at times heavy rains may trigger flash floods or landslides.
Meanwhile, partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms will persist over Metro Manila and the rest of the country also due to the easterlies.
These severe thunderstorms may cause possible flash floods or landslides.
State meteorologists also said the eastern sections of Visayas and Mindanao will experience moderate to strong wind conditions and moderate to rough coastal water conditions.
Winds will be light to moderate while coastal waters will be slight to moderate throughout the rest of the country.
Sunrise in Metro Manila will be 6:10 a.m. on Thursday. — Mariel Celine Serquiña/RF, GMA Integrated News
