Amihan to bring light rains over Northern Luzon

The Northeast Monsoon (Amihan) continues to affect Northern Luzon on Sunday, while the easterlies prevail over the rest of the country, PAGASA said in its weather forecast.
The Ilocos Region, Cordillera Administrative Region, and Cagayan Valley may expect partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains due to the monsoon, but no significant impact is expected.
Eastern Visayas, Caraga, and the Davao Region will have cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms due to the easterlies. Flash floods or landslides may result due to moderate to at times heavy rains.
Meanwhile, Metro Manila and the rest of the country may experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms due to the easterlies. During severe thunderstorms, flash floods or landslides may occur.
Coastal waters will be moderate to rough in the eastern sections of Visayas and Mindanao, and slight to moderate in the rest of the country.
