Northeast Monsoon to bring clouds, rains over parts of Luzon
The Northeast Monsoon (Amihan) will continue to affect parts of Luzon on Monday and will bring clouds and rains, according to the weather forecast of PAGASA.
Cagayan Valley, Cordillera Administrative Region, and Aurora will have cloudy skies with light rains due to the monsoon, but no significant impact is expected.
Eastern Visayas, Central Visayas, Negros Island Region, Caraga, Sorsogon, Masbate, Capiz, Iloilo, Davao Oriental, and Davao de Oro meanwhile will have cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms brought about by the easterlies. Flash floods or landslides may possibly result due to moderate to at times heavy rains.
Metro Manila, Ilocos Region, the rest of Central Luzon, and Calabarzon may expect partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains due to the Northeast Monsoon. No significant iimpact is expected, however.
The rest of the country on the other hand will experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms due to the easterlies. During severe thunderstorms, flash floods or landslides may occur.
Coastal waters will be rough to very rough in Northern Luzon, and moderate to rough in Visayas, the rest of Luzon, and the northern and eastern sections of Mindanao.
The rest of Mindanao meanwhile will have slight to moderate coastal waters.
