Amihan to bring rains over Northern, Central Luzon

The Northeast Monsoon (Amihan) will bring cloudy skies with light rains over the Cagayan Valley, the Cordillera Administrative Region, and Aurora, PAGASA reported in its Sunday afternoon forecast.
Metro Manila, the Ilocos Region, and the rest of Central Luzon will experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains, also due to the Amihan.
Meanwhile, the Eastern Visayas, Caraga, Davao Region, Zamboanga Peninsula, Sarangani, Basilan, Sulu, and Tawi-Tawi will be affected by the Easterlies, bringing cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms.
The rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms due to the Easterlies.
PAGASA warned that moderate to heavy rains may trigger flash floods and landslides.
Northern Luzon and eastern Central Luzon would experience strong winds and rough coastal waters, while winds would be moderate to strong over the rest of Luzon and the Eastern Visayas with moderate to rough coastal waters.
Over the rest of the country, winds would be light to moderate with slight to moderate coastal waters.
Sunrise in Metro Manila on Monday is expected at 6:16 a.m. — DVM, GMA Integrated News
