Shear line, amihan, easterlies to bring scattered rain showers over parts of PH

The Shear Line will be affecting Southern Luzon and the Visayas, the Northeast Monsoon (amihan) will be affecting the rest of Luzon, while the easterlies will bring isolated rain showers over part of Mindanao on Friday, PAGASA reported.

Visayas, MIMAROPA, Bicol Region, Northern Mindanao, Caraga, Zamboanga Peninsula, Quezon, and Davao Oriental will have cloudy skies with scattered rains and isolated thunderstorms due to the Shear Line with flash floods or landslides possibly occurring due to moderate to heavy rains.

Basilan, Sulu, and Tawi-Tawi will have cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms due to the Easterlies with the possibility that flash floods or landslides will occur due to moderate to at times heavy rains.

Metro Manila, Cagayan Valley, Cordillera Administrative Region, the rest of CALABARZON, and Aurora will have cloudy skies with rains due to the Northeast Monsoon with the possibility that flash floods or landslides will occur due to moderate to at times heavy rains.

The rest of Luzon will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains due to the Northeast Monsoon but this will have no significant impact.

The rest of Mindanao will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms due to the Easterlies with the possibility that flash floods or landslides will occur during severe thunderstorms.

The wind speed forecast for northern and eastern sections of Luzon is strong and moving northeastward while coastal waters will be rough.

The rest of Luzon, and the eastern sections of Visayas and Mindanao will experience moderate to strong wind speed moving Northeastward with moderate to rough coastal waters.

The rest of the country will experience light to moderate wind speed moving northeastward while coastal waters will be slight to moderate.
