Cloudy skies, rains to prevail due to 3 weather systems
Multiple weather systems will still bring rainy skies and cloudy conditions across the country.
According to PAGASA’s daily weather forecast on Thursday afternoon, Visayas, MIMAROPA, Bicol Region, Northern Mindanao, Caraga, Laguna, Rizal, and Quezon will have cloudy skies with scattered rains and isolated thunderstorms due to the shear line.
The Northeast Monsoon (Amihan) will bring cloudy skies with rains over Cagayan Valley, Cordillera Administrative Region, and Aurora, and partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains over Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon.
The easterlies will cause partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms over the rest of Mindanao.
Flash floods or landslides may occur as a result of these weather conditions.
Meanwhile, strong winds with rough waters may be expected over the northern and eastern sections of Luzon.
The rest of Luzon and the eastern sections of Visayas and Mindanao will experience moderate to strong winds to moderate to rough seas, while the rest of the country will have light to moderate winds with slight to moderate coastal waters.
Sunrise in Metro Manila will be at 6:17 a.m. on Friday. — Jiselle Anne Casucian/VBL, GMA Integrated News
