PAGASA: Cloudy skies with rains to prevail over Luzon, Mindanao

Many parts of the country will continue to experience cloudy skies with rains due to a multiple weather system, PAGASA said.

In its 4 a.m. bulletin on Wednesday, the state weather bureau said the shear line will bring scattered rains and isolated thunderstorms to mainland Cagayan, Isabela, Quirino, and Aurora.

Cordillera Administrative Region and the rest of Cagayan Valley will have cloudy skies and rains brought by the Northeast Monsoon.

Cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms will be the prevailing weather in the Zamboanga Peninsula, Palawan, Basilan, Sulu, and Tawi-Tawi as a result of the Inter Tropical Convergence Zone.

Eastern Visayas, Caraga, Sorsogon, and Davao Oriental will similarly have cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms due to the easterlies.

The Northeast Monsoon will affect the entire Ilocos Region giving it isolated rains and partly cloudy to cloudy skies.

Metro Manila and the rest of the country should brace for isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms and partly cloudy to cloudy skies due to the easterlies.
