The Intertropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ) will bring cloudy skies and rains over Mindanao in the next 24 hours, PAGASA said in its Saturday afternoon forecast.
Because of the ITCZ, the Davao Region, Zamboanga Peninsula, BARMM, Sultan Kudarat, Lanao del Norte, and Sarangani will see cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms.
The rest of Mindanao will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms.
Cloudy skies with scattered rains and isolated thunderstorms will prevail over Batanes and Babuyan Islands due to the shear line.
The easterlies will affect the rest of the country.
Moderate winds and coastal waters are expected in Northern Luzon, while the rest of the country will experience light to moderate winds and slight to moderate coastal waters.
Sunrise in Metro Manila will be at 6:20 a.m. on Sunday. —VBL, GMA Integrated News
