Amihan to bring rain over Northern, Central Luzon


The Northeast Monsoon (Amihan) will bring rain over Northern and Central Luzon, according to PAGASA’s Friday afternoon forecast.

Cloudy skies with rain are expected over the Cagayan Valley, the Cordillera Administrative Region, Aurora, and Quezon. 

Meanwhile, Metro Manila, the Ilocos Region, the rest of Central Luzon, and CALABARZON will experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rain.

The easterlies will bring cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms over the Bicol Region, while the rest of the country may experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms.

Flash floods or landslides may occur in some areas.

Strong winds with rough coastal waters are expected over northern and eastern Luzon.

The eastern section of Mindanao will experience moderate to strong winds with moderate to rough seas.

Light to moderate winds with slight to moderate coastal waters are expected elsewhere.
