Multiple weather systems will continue to bring cloudy conditions over parts of the Philippines, according to PAGASA’s daily weather forecast on Thursday afternoon.
Cloudy skies with scattered rains and isolated thunderstorms are expected over the Bicol Region, Aurora, Quezon, Marinduque, and Romblon due to the effects of the shear line.
The Northeast Monsoon (Amihan) will cause cloudy skies with rains over Cagayan Valley and Cordillera Administrative Region, and partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains over Metro Manila, Ilocos Region, and the rest of Central Luzon.
The rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms due to the easterlies.
Flash floods or landslides may occur as a result of these weather conditions.
Meanwhile, strong winds and rough waters may be observed in Northern Luzon, Southern Luzon, and the eastern sections of Central Luzon and Visayas.
The eastern section of Mindanao and the rest of Luzon will have moderate to strong winds with moderate to rough seas, while the rest of the country will have light to moderate winds with slight to moderate coastal waters.
Sunrise in Metro Manila will be at 6:25 a.m. on Friday. — Sherylin Untalan/VBL, GMA Integrated News
