Amihan to bring cloudy skies, rains over parts of Luzon
Multiple weather systems continue to bring cloudy conditions across the country, according to PAGASA’s daily weather forecast on Thursday afternoon.
The Bicol Region and Quezon will have cloudy skies with scattered rains and isolated thunderstorms due to the shear line.
The Northeast Monsoon (Amihan) may cause cloudy skies with rains over Cagayan Valley, the Cordillera Administrative Region, and Aurora, and partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains over Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon.
The easterlies will bring cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms over Eastern Visayas and partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms over the rest of the country.
PAGASA raised the possibility of flash floods and landslides due to these weather conditions.
Meanwhile, strong to gale-force winds with rough to very rough waters may be felt over Northern Luzon.
The rest of Luzon will have moderate to strong winds with moderate to rough coastal waters, while the rest of the country will have light to moderate winds with slight to moderate coastal waters.
Sunrise in Metro Manila will be at 6:25 a.m. on Friday. — Jiselle Anne Casucian/VBL, GMA Integrated News
