Parts of Luzon, Visayas to be affected by shear line, Amihan
Cloudy skies and rains will prevail across the country due to multiple weather systems, PAGASA said early Saturday morning.
In its forecast, the weather bureau said Visayas, Bicol Region, and MIMAROPA would experience cloudy skies with scattered rains and isolated thunderstorms because of the shear line.
Davao Region and SOCCSKSARGEN will also have the same weather conditions due to the Intertropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ).
Cagayan Valley, the Cordillera Administrative Region, Aurora, and Quezon will see cloudy skies with rains, while Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains due to the Northeast Monsoon (Amihan).
The rest of Mindanao will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms.
Strong to gale-force winds and rough to very rough coastal waters are expected in Northern Luzon and the eastern sections of Central and Southern Luzon.
Moderate to strong winds and moderate to rough coastal waters are possible in the rest of Luzon and Visayas.
The rest of the country will have light to moderate winds and slight to moderate coastal waters.
Sunrise in Metro Manila will be at 6:24 a.m. —VBL, GMA Integrated News
