Shear line, amihan, ITCZ to bring cloudy skies, scattered rains over parts of PH

The Shear Line will be affecting the eastern sections of Southern Luzon and Visayas, the Northeast Monsoon (amihan) will affect Northern and Central Luzon while the Intertropical Convergence Zone will bring scattered rains over Caraga and Davao region on Friday, PAGASA reported.

Visayas, Bicol Region, MIMAROPA, and Quezon will have cloudy skies with scattered rains and isolated thunderstorms due to the Shear Line with the possibility that flash floods or landslides will occur due to moderate to heavy with at times intense rains.

Cagayan Valley, Cordillera Administrative Region, and Central Luzon will have cloudy skies with rains due to the Northeast Monsoon with the possibility that flash floods or landslides will occur due to moderate to at times heavy rains.

Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains due to the Northeast Monsoon but this will have no significant impact.

The rest of Mindanao will jave partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms due to localized thunderstorms with the possibility that flash floods or landslides will occur during severe thunderstorms.

The wind speed forecast for Northern Luzon is strong to gale moving northeastward with rough to very rough coastal waters.

The eastern sections of Luzon and Visayas wil have moderate to strong wind speed moving in the east to northeast direction with moderate to rough coastal waters.

The rest of the country will have light to moderate wind speed moving in the east to northeast direction while coastal waters will be slight to moderate.
