Cloudy skies, rains expected across PH

Batanes will see cloudy skies with rains in the next 24 hours due to the Northeast Monsoon (Amihan), the state weather bureau PAGASA said in its Saturday morning forecast.

Central Luzon, Ilocos Region, Cordillera Administrative Region, and the rest of Cagayan Valley will have cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and isolated thunderstorms because of the shear line.

Localized thunderstorms will prevail in the rest of the country.

Strong to gale-force winds are expected in extreme Northern Luzon, while moderate to strong winds and moderate to rough coastal waters are possible in the rest of Northern Luzon and the eastern section of Central Luzon.

The rest of the country will experience light to moderate winds and slight to moderate coastal waters.
