Multiple weather systems to cause cloudy skies, rains over parts of PH
Four weather systems continue to bring cloudy and rainy conditions over parts of the Philippines, according to PAGASA’s daily weather forecast on Thursday afternoon.
Bicol Region, Eastern Visayas, and Quezon will see cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms caused by the easterlies, while Batanes will have cloudy skies with rains due to the Northeast Monsoon (Amihan).
The shear line will cause cloudy skies with scattered rains and isolated thunderstorms over Apayao, Cagayan, Isabela, and Aurora, and partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms over Ilocos Region and the rest of Cordillera Administrative Region and Cagayan Valley.
The rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms due to localized thunderstorms.
Flash floods or landslides may occur as a result of these weather conditions.
Meanwhile, moderate to strong winds with moderate to rough coastal waters may be expected over Northern Luzon, while the rest of the country will observe light to moderate winds with slight to moderate seas.
