Rains to persist in parts of PH due to multiple weather systems
Four weather systems will continue to bring rains over different parts of the country, according to PAGASA on Saturday.
PAGASA said Metro Manila, CALABARZON, and Aurora will have cloudy skies with scattered rains and isolated thunderstorms due to the shear line.
The Northeast Monsoon, meanwhile, will bring cloudy skies with rains over Cagayan Valley and Cordillera Administrative Region, and partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains over Ilocos Region and the rest of Central Luzon.
Visayas, Caraga, Northern Mindanao, Zamboanga Peninsula, Albay, Sorsogon, Masbate, and Palawan will have cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms due to the Intertropical Convergence Zone.
Partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms are expected over the rest of Mindanao.
The rest of Luzon will be having partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms.
Possible flash floods or landslides may occur over some areas of the country due to said weather conditions.
Meanwhile, strong to gale-force winds with rough to very rough coastal waters may be experienced over Northern Luzon.
The eastern section of the country will have moderate to strong winds with moderate to rough waters, while the rest of the country will feel light to moderate winds with slight to moderate seas.
Sunrise in Metro Manila will be at 6:20 a.m. on Sunday
