3 weather systems to bring cloudy skies, rains over parts of PH
Three weather systems continue to bring cloudy skies with rains over parts of the Philippines.
According to PAGASA’s daily weather forecast issued 4 p.m. Friday, the Intertropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ) will bring cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms over Mindanao, Visayas, Bicol Region, MIMAROPA, Quezon, Metro Manila and the rest of the country.
Meanwhile, the Shear Line will bring cloudy skies with scattered rains and isolated thunderstorms over Cagayan, Apayao, and Isabela.
The Northeast Monsoon or Amihan will cause cloudy skies with rains over Batanes and Babuyan Islands, and partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains over Ilocos Region and the rest of Cagayan Valley and Cordillera Administrative Region.
Possible flash floods or landslides may occur in some parts of the country as a result of said weather conditions.
PAGASA said strong to gale-force winds with rough to very rough waters may be experienced in Northern Luzon.
Moderate to strong winds with moderate to rough seas may be felt over the eastern section of the country, while the rest of the country may observe light to moderate winds with slight to moderate coastal waters.
