PAGASA observing tropical storm outside PAR, 3 weather systems in PH
PAGASA continues to monitor former Tropical Storm Romina outside the Philippine Area of Responsibility, while three weather systems continue to affect the country on Christmas Eve.
According to the daily weather forecast on Tuesday afternoon, Romina was last seen 295 kilometers west northwest of Kalayaan, Palawan at around 3:00 p.m.
It had maximum sustained winds of 65 kph and gustiness of up to 80 kph.
Cloudy skies with scattered rains and isolated thunderstorms could be experienced over Metro Manila, Central Luzon, CALABARZON, MIMAROPA, Bicol Region, and Eastern Visayas due to the Shear Line.
The Northeast Monsoon will be bringing cloudy skies with rains over the Cagayan Valley and Cordillera Administrative Region, and partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains over the Ilocos Region.
The rest of the country will be having partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms due to the easterlies.
Possible flash floods or landslides could occur in some areas as a result of said weather conditions.
Meanwhile, strong winds with rough waters may be felt over Northern Luzon, and the eastern sections of Central and Southern Luzon.
Visayas, the rest of Luzon, and the northeastern section of Mindanao will be having moderate to strong winds with moderate to rough waters, while the rest of Mindanao may see light to moderate winds with slight to moderate waters.
