4 weather systems to bring cloudy skies, rains over parts of PH

Four weather systems will bring cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms over parts of the country on Tuesday, PAGASA reported.

At 3 a.m. on Tuesday, the Low Pressure Area (LPA) was estimated at 155 kilometers east southeast of Tagum City, Davao del Norte and is embedded along the Intertropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ) affecting Visayas and Mindanao.

Eastern Visayas, Caraga and Davao Region will have cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms due to the LPA with the possibility that flash floods or landslides will occur due to moderate to heavy rains.

Bicol Region and Quezon will have cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms due to the Shear line with the possibility that flash floods or landslides will occur due to moderate to heavy rains.

The rest of Visayas and of Mindanao will have cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms due to the ITCZ with the possibility that flash floods or landslides will occur due to moderate to at times heavy rains.

Cagayan Valley, Cordillera Administrative Region, and Aurora will have cloudy skies with rains due to the Northeast Monsoon (amihan) with the possibility that flash floods or landslides will occur due to moderate to at times heavy rains.

Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains due to the Amihan but will have not bring a significant impact to the areas.

The wind speed forecast for Northern and Central Luzon is strong and moving northeastward while coastal waters will be rough.

The rest of Luzon and the eastern sections of Visayas and Mindanao will experience moderate to strong wind speed moving northeastward with moderate to strong coastal waters.

The rest of the country will have light to moderate wind speed moving in the northeast to north direction while coastal waters will be slight to moderate.
