Shearline, Amihan, ITCZ to bring rains all over PH Monday

Partly cloudy to cloudy skies with rains will affect most parts of the country Monday, according to state weather bureau PAGASA.

In its 24-hour public weather forecast issued at 4 a.m., PAGASA said shear line is affecting eastern section of Southern Luzon particularly Quezon, Marinduque, Oriental Mindoro, and Bicol Region which will experience cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms.

Metro Manila, Cagayan Valley, Cordillera Administrative Region, Aurora, and the rest of Luzon, on the other hand, will be affected by Northern Monsoon or Amihan which will cause partly cloudy to cloudy skies with rains.

Meanwhile, Intertropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ) will affect Eastern Visayas, Central Visayas, Northern Mindanao, SOCCSKSARGEN, Caraga, Davao Region, and the rest of Mindanao which will experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with rains or thunderstorms.

Partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms will affect the rest of Visayas due to localized thunderstorms

PAGASA warned that moderate to at times heavy rains and thunderstorms will cause flash floods and landslides.

Strong winds will be experienced in Northern and Central Luzon causing rough coastal water conditions while the rest of Luzon and the eastern sections of Visayas and Mindanao will have moderate to strong wind and coastal water conditions.

The rest of the country will have light to moderate winds with slight to moderate coastal waters.

Sunrise was at 6:14 a.m. while sunset will be at 5:30 p.m. Monday.
