Shear Line, Amihan to bring cloudy skies, rains in several PH areas
The Shear Line and the Northeast Monsoon (Amihan) are expected to bring cloudy skies and rains over several parts of the country on late Tuesday afternoon.
According to PAGASA’s daily 4 p.m. weather forecast on Tuesday, CALABARZON, Camarines Norte, Camarines Sur, Catanduanes, Marinduque, Oriental Mindoro, Bulacan, and Aurora could experience cloudy skies with scattered rains and isolated thunderstorms due to the Shear Line.
The Northeast Monsoon will bring cloudy skies with rains over Cagayan Valley, Apayao, Kalinga, Mountan Province, and Ifugao, and partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains over Metro Manila, Ilocos Region, and the rest of Cordillera Administrative Region and Central Luzon.
Partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms could be experienced over the rest of the country due to the easterlies.
Possible flash floods or landslides may occur in some parts of the country due to said weather conditions.
Meanwhile, moderate to strong winds with rough waters may be observed over Northern Luzon and the eastern sections of Central and Southern Luzon.
The rest of Luzon and the eastern sections of Visayas and Mindanao will be having moderate to strong winds with moderate to rough seas, while the rest of the country will have light to moderate winds with slight to moderate coastal waters.
