Amihan, shear line cause cloudy conditions over parts of Luzon

The Shear Line and the Northeast Monsoon (amihan) continues to bring cloudy skies with scattered rains over parts of Luzon.

According to PAGASA’s daily weather forecast on Friday afternoon, the Shear Line will cause cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms over Cagayan, Apayao, and Kalinga, while Batanes may see cloudy skies or light rains due to the Northeast Monsoon.

Localized thunderstorms will also bring partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms over the rest of the country.

Meanwhile, residents of Northern Luzon may see moderate to strong winds with moderate to rough waters.

The rest of the country will be having light to moderate winds with slight to moderate coastal waters.
