Shear line, Amihan to bring cloudy skies over parts of Luzon

The shear line and the Northeast Monsoon or Amihan will bring cloudy conditions over parts of Luzon.

According to PAGASA’s daily weather forecast on Wednesday afternoon, Batanes may experience cloudy skies with light rains caused by the Northeast Monsoon, while the Shear Line will cause cloudy skies with scattered rains and isolated thunderstorms over the Cordillera Administrative Region, Ilocos Norte, Ilocos Sur, and the rest of Cagayan Valley.

Partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms will be seen over the rest of the country due to localized thunderstorms.

Possible flash floods or landslides may occur in some areas as a result of said weather conditions.

Meanwhile, moderate to strong winds with moderate to rough waters may be felt over northern Luzon.

The rest of the country will experience light to moderate winds with slight to moderate seas.
