Shear line, Amihan to bring cloudy skies, rains over parts of Luzon
The shear line and the Northeast Monsoon (Amihan) will bring cloudy conditions and rains over several parts of Luzon.
According to PAGASA’s daily weather forecast on Tuesday afternoon, the Northeast Monsoon will cause cloudy skies with rains over Batanes, while the shear line will bring cloudy skies with scattered rains and isolated thunderstorms over the Cordillera Administrative Region, Ilocos Norte, Ilocos Sur, Aurora, the Kalayaan Islands, and the rest of Cagayan Valley.
The rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms due to localized thunderstorms.
Flash floods or landslides may occur in some parts of the Philippines due to these weather systems.
Meanwhile, moderate to strong winds with moderate to rough waters may be felt over Northern Luzon, while the rest of the country will have light to moderate winds with moderate seas.
